When using Bulk Tool Configuration to copy course components from one course to another, it does not overwrite the existing content/components in the destination course. However, any course files stored in the Manage Files area are overwritten.

Issues with Cursor within D2L
This is such a weird problem, but when I insert feedback within the assignment itself by adding a comment, the cursor moves back to the beginning of the sentence. For example, if I start typing "Missing…," as soon as I type the "M," before I move on to the "i," the cursor moves back to the space before "M." I don't even know if I am explaining it correctly. Is anyone else having this problem? It's happening to me on multiple computers, so I know it's a me problem or a D2L and me problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How to place a personalized component in homepage without affecting the layout?
Greetings!
I'm designing a personalized course in brightspace for my college which must be a 'Gamified route'.
Currently I have thought of everything I want in the gamified route, however, I am having problems when building custom components, because when creating them with HTML, JavaScript and CSS and placing them in, they are generating problems with the brigthspace design and it ends up generating like an increase in size towards infinity.
This component that I created is based only on text and buttons with animations, videos and others that are the 'introduction' to the course. In addition to trying to solve the problem that is generating space towards infinity, I would like to see the possibility of putting this component in the HOMEPAGE of the course so that students can see it first and proceed with the entire gamified route, but once have seen, do not appear again, such as using a condition that they completed that component so that it does not appear again.
PD: There's someone I can talk with them by continues way to help me with some advices to make the course? I'd appreciate it so much and thank you.

Re: Email/System contacts/address book
Yes, admin can set the current course offering as the default for the filter by dropdown box. Once that's done, as long as you access the mail tool from inside of a course, that course should be the one that populates in your dropdown.
Re: Is a way that we can automate D2L to notify faculty that there gradebook does not equal 100%?
I don't know of one but it would surely be helpful and keep me from having to check them all and email the instructors to tell them their gradebooks aren't set up correctly. Perhaps you should add this to the PIE.
