Regarding your question, it appears that the issue may be related to the selection of a Grade scheme color. Please follow these steps to review and validate it:

1. Grades.
2. Manage Grades.
3. Find the desired grade item, Edit.
4. Validate the Grade Scheme.

Once you find the Grade scheme. Please review and validate it following the steps:

1. Grades.
2. Schemes.
3. Find the desired scheme, Edit.

You'll find the ranges and colors assigned to the scheme.

Thank you for your comment.

Regarding this specific situation, Brightspace does not natively support limiting students to enroll in a maximum number of groups across multiple categories. Unfortunately, there isn't a built-in feature to enforce this limit automatically

This might require manual monitoring, to make sure that the students only self-enroll in 3/4 group categories.

In the New Content Experience, if you would like to create what we call a "module" in the legacy/old experience, you should click "New Unit"

If you would like to add what we call a "submodule" in the legacy/old experience, you should click "Create New" (see below) - which will be indented to the right of the "module" it was created under. Once again, if you wish to add a new content item indented to right, you will click "create new" under that newly-created submodule, and so on.
