Re: Can we get rid of the 4-digit number after our name?
Hey @Stefanie Bal729,
I can confirm that I now receive messages from the community in my inbox.
I'm still old and grumpy - in fact I'm a whole week older than my previous post - so I still think these numbers gotta go. Happy to hear that there might eventually be a way to get rid of them. 😊
Your hashtag game is on fleek. See, I can be young and hip too!

Re: Community Feedback🗨️
I would like to see this legacy page replicated in the new community. Is there something like it already here?

Re: New Thought Leadership Notifications
I just published a blog post on Assignment Ideas using ChatGPT and other AI tools. This post might be helpful for instructors and administrators who are curious about incorporating AI tools into their repository of teaching resources.
Let me know what you think!

Re: Authorization Tokens that keep Expiring
@Bruce Bur375 Thank you. I'll explore today. Again, thank you for all the information.
Re: Can we get rid of the 4-digit number after our name?
Thank you @Stefanie Bal729 for your reply, that I only just saw because I looked in my Junk Mail folder… 😉
Don't get me wrong, I am annoyed at this behaviour but I'm not saying it is caused by the username format. My main complain with the name format is that it's super ugly and makes everyone look like a bot. Even when I eventually get the replies in my inbox instead of in my Junk Mail folder, I will still hate this username format and advocate for it to change. 😅

Re: Community Feedback🗨️
@Janet.Osborne3295, To make sure there's no confusion going forward, I'm going to add the following note to the High Impact Changes Timeline (to go live on May 4):
Note: To determine the date when an update is scheduled based on the version number, you can also read the version as a year and month. For example: 20.22.11 (year = 2022, month = 11/November) or 20.23.5 (year = 2023, month = 5/May).
Is it worthwhile to turn off the student view experience so matches faculty view?
Our student community is finding their view of the lesson content experience confusing. Faculty are not good about toggling to the student view when using Brightspace in class. We wonder if we should toggle our configuration variables so student view matches the faculty view. We are unsure of the implications and what would be lost if we did that. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Re: Community Feedback🗨️
Hi @Janet.Osborne3295 - the version numbers are the year and month: For example: 20.23.5 is year.month (2023 May).
We can't have that many columns in the new Community because it squeezes everything onto the page without a horizontal scroll - and looks proper awful.
Re: ServiceNow Rest API Integration
Hi Kyler
In Postman on the righthand side when you are in the api route view you will see some menu items one of which is the </> if you click that it will show you the command in various programming languages of which cURL is one.
