Thank you so much for your reply! I've been able to investigate further and found that once I switched to using xAPI vs any other SCORM type it's fixed most if not all of the reporting issues!

There's a really amazing Brightspace tool called Creator+ that let's you create activities called "Hotspots." The students would still be expected to be able to meet the key learning objective of identifying the areas of the cell and you can layer additional assessment opportunities by asking them to select the area and then answer a question about the part they've selected.

The best part about this tool (in my opinion) is that while the traditional colouring assignment may challenge students who experience vision impairment, or experience difficulties detecting the differences in colours- this assessment builder is designed for use by Learners who may use screen readers!

Hello, after spending some time trying to figure out how this platform works, I learned how to add a photo to my profile. So to begin, im using a laptop. In the upper right corner was the standard profile icon. I clicked on that and then selected the first option when the menu drops down, lebeled as "account and privacy settings". From there, you should be able to figure it out. If you have any further questions, feel free to get back to me I would love to help if i can.

You can change your photo by clicking on your current image, then account & privacy settings. Then look on the right hand column and you should see "Change my picture".

The Zoom integration and your permissions need to be configured by your institution's administrator. I'm connecting you with documentation for how they can do this. @Owen.H.60 and @Jennifer.W.973 thank you for confirming this and your insights. I'm sure it happens for our faculty, but it was just strange seeing the orphaned questions only in the pool. We do have Respondus 4.0, so worse case scenario, we can export the questions there or in XML.

Jennifer, thank you so much. I asked a student to tell me what they saw and it is set up correctly. Apparently this is such a common user error that my own university's Brightspace support staff made the same mistake and I have been worrying about nothing. I appreciate your help.

Excel file in quiz question won't open for one learner

If a learner is struggling to open an excel file attached to a quiz question, is a browser block on pop ups etc. the reason for it? No other student has experienced this issue.

Plugin for Video Assignments in Dropbox: Play Video in Browser

Hello,

Our students must submit recordings of their meetings as assignments in the Dropbox. When the assignment file is uploaded, an assessor would have to watch it. Currently, those video files must be downloaded. For privacy and conveniency reasons, we would prefer not having to use the Download option. Having the video play in browser would be ideal. Are there any solutions to have that option?

We have looked into the Embed Video option, but that could be causing difficulties for our students to figure out. The easiest way would be: Student submits the assignment video file > Assessor watches it and uses the Rubric right there.

I wonder if anyone has figured it out?
