May be this: http://docs.valence.desire2learn.com/res/orgunit.html#get--d2l-api-lp-(version)-orgstructure-, you can filter by typeID = 3 (I think this is for Course Offering).
Notice the result is paged and you'll need "Can Create and Edit Org Units" permission in "Org Unit Editor" tool for your user-api rol.

Brightspace datasets tool not available?
I'm a super admin, trying to get Brightspace datasets working in the data hub on my TEST environment (It works on my production environment). I'm following
.
- Data Hub is available, but it's empty.
- On the Tool Availability page, I can enable Custom Reporting Framework, but Advanced Data Sets and Brightspace Data Sets are not available.
- In Roles/Permissions:
- Custom Reporting Framework > See reporting tool = Enabled
- Custom Reporting Framework > Manage and delete reports = Enabled
- Custom Reporting Framework > Can see data hub = Enabled
- Brightspace Data Sets > Can Access Brightspace Data Sets = Not available
How can I set up a quiz that will give automatic points when it is re-taken?
Students will take the quiz individually, and then as a group. When the group takes the test, if they score a certain score (ex: 93 + = 2 extra points) they will have points added to the original test.
Example: Student 1 takes the test and scores a 77%. Then is put into a group that takes the same test with 1 person submitting and they score a 93%. All the students in that group have earned 2 extra points. How can I set this up so that it will automatically add the extra points to the original grade for the correct group?

Re: Posting Announcements on the Homepage
Yes, you can do this, via a release condition!
When you create your announcement, scroll down to the Additional Release Conditions area and click on the Create and Attach button. Look for the condition type: Role in current org unit (it's under the Classlist tool). Then you can select the Instructor role and when you publish the announcement, only users who are instructors at the org level will be able to see it.
