Hi,
Can you please either reinstate the ability to download the Admin guide or provide a guide-specific search on the page? The existing format borders on impossible to navigate because of all the nested sections. As a system admin I used to use the Admin guide as a quick reference for system settings that come up rarely which means I am never sure what section of the guide the information I'm looking for is. Before this new site, I could download the guide and do a keyword search to find what I was looking for now it's extremely challenging to locate specific documentation unless I already more or less know the answer and so can figure out where that information would be grouped.

Hi Jamey - it sounds like you may need to select the option to enable for all descendants of your org unit. You can find this by clicking on the ‘Add Org Units’ button in the Rubric settings area, locating the main org unit and selecting the ‘all descendants’ option. You should then see additional text indicating that it is now available to ‘Every Org Unit’ etc.

Idiot proofing Quiz Setup
It should not be possible to post a Quiz that has no questions in it. There should be an idiot-proofing checkpoint that triggers if a Quiz is deployed that does not contain any questions.

Hi James,
Yes, this outcome can be achieved using the Global Announcements tool or regular Announcement tool. See:
In both scenarios the user must be enrolled at the level in which the Announcement is created. Thereafter the user can see the Announcement at the level in which it was created or at the Org level.

Agree with many above - while there is a workaround discussed above, I believe there should be more of a focus on providing an actual Discussion due date setting. This would make it consistent with other activities in D2L. Consistency is key to user friendliness. Thanks.

The ability to add due dates for discussions in the same way as for assignments and quizzes would be very useful. D2L - is this on your roadmap?
