These two datasets appear to contain the same information with just a few minor differences.

    Hello Lee,

Thank you for your question regrading the difference between UserLogins dataset and the SystemAccess datset.

To understand the difference, we must note that a System Access is different from a User Login.

A user login occurs every time a user returns to Brightspace and enters their credentials. Whereas a SystemAccess begins following a successful login or re-engaging with the platform after >30 mins inactivity.

This is mentioned in the System Access Log Dataset: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4537-sessions-and-system-access-data-sets#system-access-log

So although a user may have multiple logins within the same 30 minutes, this would not mean they have the same amount of user logins. So in addition to the additional columns for the System Access Log Dataset, the way each row is logged occurs differently,

    I hope this information helps!

    Best regards,
    Abrar
