Importing multi-answer questions from Moodle properly
Hi, I quite new to the Brightspace platform. I am importing questions from Moodle, some of which are what Brightspace calls Multi-Select. However, Brightspace does not recognize this and designates them as Multiple Choice. Is there a way to import these types of questions properly? If not, is there an easy way to change an existing question in Brightspace from Multiple Choice to Multi-Select? All the information was imported, that is, the weighted amount for each answer and the feedback for each answer. When I select a question, the option for selecting question type is greyed out.

On checking, I understand that what you see is an expected behavior.
In this case, Moodle only has one question type, which is Multiple-Answer. This question type has the option to allow one answer or multiple answers, but the question type itself remains Multiple-Choice.
The conversion tool maps the incoming question type to an equivalent Brightspace question type based on the incoming XML. So, in this case, the behavior you are seeing (Multiple Choice Moodle question mapped to Multiple Choice Brightspace question) is expected.
