I am a current user of the attendance registers, and it would be amazing if there was a way, if we click into a weekly attendance register, it was possible to generate a QR code that would allow me to show it on a screen, the students scan it, and can either input their details, or it will ask them to login using their university credentials. It will then record their attendance in the register that the QR code is associated with.
- Open D2L
- Create attendance register for specific number of classes
- Open one of the registers and it will auto display a QR code at the top
- Students scan QR code and sign in using university credentials
- It will auto populate the attendance register with that student being present.
I am not sure if this already exists would be awesome!.
