How can I see a student's point total by category in a weighted gradebook?
When I look at the gradebook, all I can see is their percentages achieved in the category. The percentage they have out of 100% for the category and the total they have out of the weight of the category. But I need to see the total of the points for each item in the category.

In your Gradebook, go to Settings ('gear' icon ⚙ in the upper right corner of your screen).
Then, you will have the option of changing the display views to yourself only or the whole class.
If you would like to change it only to yourself only, select "Personal Display Options". If you would like to change it to the whole class, select "Org Unit Display Options" (see below).
Then, under 'Grade Details', select 'Points grade'.
Finally 'Save'.

I gave this a try and it only displays the point information for an individual grade item. Not the total points achieved by the student out of the total possible for the category. Can this be done?
