Howdy. I'm posting this in the Training category, but what I'd love to see is a separate Tips and Tricks category. Brightspace and Course Merchant are so deep, there's no way you can know it all. I have a few things that I had to just figure out by myself or with the help of D2L people because what I wanted to do had no documentation, or it was limited. I'm sure there are more folks out there who have little tricks that the rest of us might not have thought of.
Something like this:
We launched BSpace this year as a standalone system, without being connected to any sort of Student Info System to control and keep track of things like a Learner's progress toward completing a program. We wanted to be able to acknowledge and give awards or credit when someone completed a curriculum that included several courses. Brightspace doesn't really have any way to keep track of that without a SIS. But we figured out a workaround. I'm happy to post about that, if anyone is interested, and please comment on my idea for a T&T category.
