Flagging students with additional needs

I've tried to find a way to flag students with additional needs so that the instructor can see this at a glance in the classlist. I can't find a way to do this and I believe there is not a current tool to enable this.

I would add this to the Product Idea Exchange, only the link to it is not working!

Does anyone have any bright ideas?

There are a few different ways you can do this:

• Create a group (e.g., Additional Needs) using these best practice recommendations and enroll the students with additional needs into that group. You can then filter by that group in the Classlist tool.
• If the students with additional needs require slightly different permissions, create a duplicate of the Student role (e.g., Student Plus), modify the permissions accordingly, and assign that role to the students with additional needs.

Regarding the Product Idea Exchange, please use the link in the Quick Links section to access it. You will require separate user credentials to log in (i.e., if you are logged into the D2L Brightspace Community, those credentials won't work to access the Product Idea Exchange).
