Lockdown Browser

My professor uses lockdown browser for homework. She said it was so that way people couldn't cut and past into AI. I understand that part. Since it is homework she does allow the use of notes and a textbook. My problem is I have a digital textbook and use OneNote. is there a work around for this?

Hi Enrique. Thanks for reaching out to the Brightspace Community!

My name is Owen and I'm happy to assist here. Two things to consider:

    1. Have you thought about using another laptop or device to host your notes as a work-around since your professor allows access to the textbook and e-notes?
    2. This may be a question better-suited for your professor/TA/classmates than the Brightspace Community.

    Cheers,

    Owen

Thanks. I like to know if there are options before I ask. For instance, if there is no work around for using an online textbook. then I need to ask a different question of my professor than if they can simply turn on an optional toggle. I do like your idea of using another computer. but that is not always available for me to have two around at one time, so it limits when I can get my homework done.
