Can the docReader tool be available when marking submissions?

Hello there,
Is it possible for an instructor to use Brightspace's built-in text-to-speech tools when marking assignments? We have docReader and ReadSpeaker available in different areas of our institution's Brightspace, but it seems that neither tool is available for the instructor to listen to uploaded document submissions, e.g. Word docs or PDFs. The availability of this tool within the evaluation interface would reduce accessibility barriers. Thank you.

Hi @Noelle.P.497, thank you for your question! ReadSpeaker is integrated within Brightspace for Content, Assignments, and Quizzes only. However, ReadSpeaker offers a browser extension called TextAid, which works across the LMS.

TextAid is a personal reading, writing, and studying tool that works on subscription licensing (individual or institutional). I'd recommend using ReadSpeaker for Content, Assignments, and quizzes, and TextAid for other areas within Brightspace.
