We're so excited to introduce these new Community enhancements:

⚡ Suggested Results in Question Workflows: Now, get answers more quickly than ever with automatic searches across the Community as you type your questions.

Suggested Results display as you type your question to post to Community, helping you find the answer faster


📢 Community Announcement Banners: Keep up-to-date with essential news through announcements on specific Category pages and within Knowledge Bases.

Banners like the one currently on the Search Page help connect Community Members with helpful updates and information. In this example a blue banner on the Search Results Page reads "Can't find what you're looking for? Post Your Question to the Community" with a link to the Ask A Question Page in Community


🕵🏾‍♀️ ASC Homepage Known Issues Automated Search (English Only): Immediately find Known/Fixed Issues that may provide a workaround or a new workflow, speeding up your return to teaching and learning

Suggested Solutions display on the Case Creation Page for Approved Support Contacts. This tool now includes a separate filter for Known and Fixed Issues Content and displays a numbered count of the articles found ex. 25 known and fixed issues


+ Brand new ASC Global Search Bar!

A Search Bar now appears on the Approved Support Contact Portal to support ASCs in searching across any cases regardless of which filter is on ex. My Closed vs My Open Cases


🚌 Learning Center Course Filters in Community Search via Course Tags: In search of a course with free downloads open to all? Utilize simple tag filters to find the perfect material.

From the Search Results Page, when viewing Learning Center content results, you can now select Course Tags to find only Higher Education Learning Center Material or material connected to a downloadable resource


👍🏿 Specific Documentation Article Feedback: Use the new feedback feature to vote and provide detailed feedback on particular Community articles.

Use the Thumbs Up or Down Icons to provide feedback on Community articles and type specific feedback on what you like or dislike about the article


🚄 Quicker Search Loading Times: Your search results page is about to load faster than ever with this update.

🎫 Event Tags for Group or Community-Wide Events: Identify Group-specific or Community-wide events with ease using the new tags in your search experience.

On the Search Results Page, when you filter for Events, new tags show if the event is specific to a Community Group or intended for a Community Wide audience


💬 Quicker Access to the Best Answers: Look for the "Accepted" tag on question results to quickly find the most reliable answers to your Brightspace inquiries. You'll also find all comments on questions can be found from your search.

From the Search Results Page, when you filter for Discussions, you'll now see a tag for "Accepted" Answers indicating this is the best answer to the question as voted by the Original Poster and D2L Staff Members


⭐ Persistent Saved Filters: Maintain your selected search filters on the Search Results Page even when switching content sources (e.g., from Articles to Discussion and back), ensuring your filters stay intact.

From the Search Results Page, when you select filters ex. Administrator Documentation from the Article source, flip to Discussions, and then flip back to the Article source, your selected filters will not be erased and your search term will remain in the search bar
