Is Dropbox a default option in Brightspace, or an "extra"?

I have been using Brightspace since I started teaching in 2019 and have grown to love the platform (having used Web-CT/Blackboard and Moodle in a previous role). I recently started as a part-time sessional instructor for another college, and thankfully, they also are using Brightspace. However, a third-party "lab" platform is also being used without integration, and they aren't using Dropbox for assignments right within Brightspace itself. So my question, is the assignment Dropbox I used previously and extra add-on or is it a default feature within Brightspace? The coordinator I'm working with was completely unaware of the Dropbox thing.

Hi James- Assignments (formerly known as Dropbox) is a part of Brightspace Core.

Ah, so it IS still there, just under an different name (and seemingly not yet used that I can tell). Thanks for that!
