Assignment Annotation Tool Issues on iPad

I use the annotation tool in Brightspace on an iPad to grade assignments. The pen tool works fine but I can no longer add typed notes. When I select the notes tool and click on the document where I'd like to insert the note, nothing happens. The text tool also isn't working in the same fashion. I have an iPad Pro (12.9-inch, 6th generation) with the most updated iPadOS version 17.6.1. I have tested this on both Chrome and Safari and have the same issue on both. And, for what it's worth, the notes tool works on a MacBook Pro, so it seems the issue may be specific to iPads.

I see that this was a known issue that was supposedly resolved (https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/26290-assignment-annotations-not-working-on-ipad), but I am still having this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi cmcheng - This was resolved with our current release, however you won't likely see that release for a couple of weeks still, depending on when your environment receives it. My records say that Carlow is in Wave 5 and the Wave Schedule says that will be deployed Sept 25 and 26 .
