Is there anything equivalent to the Blackboard WIKI?

I am looking for a way in Brightspace for students to share information with one another, such as posting a description of their class project which would evolve over time and provide opportunites for feedback and collaboration. I used the WIKI in Blackboard, but don't see anything obviously similar in Brightspace. Any suggestions?

Hi Laura, besides our Discussions tool, Brightspace does not currently offer a direct equivalent to what you're looking for. I would encourage you to use our Product Idea Exchange to search for similar ideas and vote/comment on those. Alternatively, you can add your own product suggestions there!

In order to increase the utility of this reply, you could provide some suggestions on exactly how to use the Discussion tool to accomplish tasks that we might have done on Blackboard WIKI. Thanks anyway, at least you confirmed that there isn't anything equivalent, or so it seems!

Hi Laura - the discussions tool allows learners to reply to posts made by both the instructor and other learners, and therefore, they can contribute to a discussion through threads, however, discussions does not have the capability to allow learners to contribute to the same page like a wiki would. We have more information on the Discussions tool here in the Community if it's helpful: About Discussions.
