A question from a PreCon session on New Content Experience forgot to ask

I attended several PreCon sessions on July 8th and reviewing my session notes, I have additional questions I would like to ask one of the trainers. I specifically need to ask the trainer for the New Content Session a question I forgot to ask during her session. She is from Jamaica! Her examples were all about Jamaica! 😃

My question in case it can be answered by any D2L Brightspace employee involved in the new content creation and rollover is:

In copying content from the previous Brightspace content into the new content experience, what happens? Is everything copied over exactly or are items moved, delisted, hidden or lost?

Any information or links to documentation would be very much appreciated.

Hi Jenn!

Thanks very much for your reply. We are beginning to test the New Content Experience and this is one of the areas I will test as I copy Practice courses into the New Content Experience test environment.

Hi Marianna!

I believe everything should be copied over exactly when changing from one learning experience to another. Everything should show in a published/hidden state the same way it shows in the course you are copying it from. 😎
