How do you disable the new chat AI helper?

The new AI Chat helper is constantly getting in the way. Is there any way to disable it?

It provides no added benefit. Get rid of it.

I get that every executive is trying to curry favour with their boss or with share holders but AI isn't really that useful.

Success. The Google Chrome extension Adblock Plus was able to block that element in D2L Brightspace. No more annoying clippy wannabe.
