Commencing date for online meeting schedule

When creating or editing an online meeting schedule, there is only an option for an end date, I cannot set a commencing date. I want to create a block period limited to the middle weeks of a session and allow students to make their booking from the commencement of the session.

I use the online meeting (zoom) option under the communication tab.
