Image display issue in D2L email templates

We've developed an email template for administrators to send communications to learners via Brightspace. However, we've encountered an issue where the email is received without the intended brand banner image.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and are there specific settings within Brightspace that we should adjust to resolve this issue? I know that web browsers may occasionally block images for security reasons.

Brightspace emails currently don't support sending images in-line within the messages. However, if you check out our Mail Templates you can add logo images in there if you are just looking to add some branding.
