I want to change the status of ~140 courses from Active, to Inactive, but I don't want to add end dates to the courses.
@Maureen Barrow can you use the Course Updater for this? It should be able to do change the active status of courses.
We get our course offering data pumped to csv files from IPSIS/Banner, so it's easy for use to get than information. You should be able to make a csv file with these headers & run it through IPSIS just make sure than the IsActive column explicitly says 0 (zero).
If you don't have an IPSIS setup, then I can't be much help... (sorry)
There are some headers we use and some examples of entries in the attached file.... A lot of the column entries are optional.
Thanks to the two of you! I'm going with the Course Updater tool. I knew there had to be a tool somewhere... I just needed to add it to a tool bar.
