When launching the Engagement Dashboard a pop-up window appears. As an administrator I would like to edit the text of the pop-up, some of the information is potentially confusing.
 

It would also be beneficial if the pop-up had some kind of "don't show this again' option. So that instructors do not have to close the pop-up message each time they launch the dashboard.

In regards to the text being displayed, you should be able to adjust this in the language settings.

 

If you head to the Admin Tools area and select Language Management, click on the default language package at your organization.

 

There are four terms you'll be interested in which manage the above:

• defaultViewPopup:title (for the title of the window)
• defaultViewPopup:emptyResultsFromNRecentSemesters (general text, for semesters)
• defaultViewPopup:resultsFromNRecentCourses (general text, for courses)
• defaultViewPopup:promptUseFilters (lower text)

 

If you search for these within the language package you'll be able to edit the custom value field.
