Why is Brightspace changing how my PPT file is displayed?

I recently uploaded a set of PowerPoint slides into a course, but Brightspace has rearranged how the content is arranged so that now the text is overlapping. I can get around this by changing all of my slides to PDFs instead, but I'm curious if anyone knows why it is doing this.

This could be due to a file rendering issue.
Another workaround is uploading the PowerPoint file and advising your students to click on "View as Page" at the bottom of the presentation window (See below):

Selecting to view the presentation as "page" fixes this issue.

    I hope this is helpful.

We have found that this commonly occurs if the browser is out of date. I would recommend updating the browser first, then ensuring that "View as Page" is set in the PowerPoint viewer as illustrated in the other post.
