I'm sorry you're having troubles with your quiz.
I'm wondering if perhaps you have synchronous quizzes enabled, and the quiz start is future-dated.
Can you have a look at these settings for the targeted quiz and confirm if this is perhaps the cause:
If this is an asynchronous quiz, further troubleshooting may be required to identify the root cause. If further troubleshooting is required I would encourage you to raise this to the D2L Helpdesk using whichever processes are in place within your organization to raise end user support issues.

The user question above is the same as mine. I can see my quizzes and all the questions, however, in Learner mode, my students cannot see the Start Button. My quizzes are not timed and stay open throughout a few weeks. Is there anything I can do to help students see their quizzes?

I am having the same problem! I can access the quiz until I go in as learner. It worked earlier this term and I have it always available. I even deleted the submodule and re-launched. Still - no button to get into the quiz. What can I do??

The Start Quiz button will not show if you are just previewing as a learner. You must impersonate a student from the Classlist (which you may not have the permission to do).
