ipad and document viewer

As a teacher I am using my ipad in conjunction with D2L. I am finding an issue with uploaded pdf documents that when I open the PDF only the first page of the document comes up. I am using safari or chrome. Is there a way to fix this issue.

    Thank you for contacting us through the Brightspace community! Our document viewer operates similarly to how it functions on a computer. Could you please supply us with some screenshots and the link where the PDF file is located so that we can investigate further?
