Remove Number of Views per post

There does not appear to be a way to remove the number of views on each post in a discussion board. The number of views encourages a comparative environment that we want to avoid. Can this be an update in a future software upgrade?

    Thank you for this idea! At the moment, I am unable to find a setting or configuration that can turn this feature off.
