Can an email be sent to an instructor when an assignment is completed?

I don't see a setting for that in the assignment folder creation but you could set up an intelligent agent for this to email the instructor and have it so that it would tell them the student that submitted the assignment.
I was just notified my previous comment was marked as the answer, I went back and looked again, there is a setting in the assignment folder setup for email notifications. At the bottom of the window you can enter an email address there for notifications. This will notify the instructor anytime a submission to this folder is made.
So you can either setup an intelligent agent or use this setting. You may want to use this instead of the intelligent agents though as they run once a day whereas this should notification should work every time a submission is made. So you could get an email for every submission once per day or an email for every submission as they come in.
