Brightspace Editor – Edited images are saved with their original names to improve ease of location

We recommend that our faculty create an images folder to house their images. When Brightspace updates the image with the timestamp it stores it in the main directory.

Is any thought being given to saving the timestamped version in the original directory?

This seems to be the expected behavior at this time, However, there is a feature request for the same in our Product Idea Exchange. I would recommend that to upvote the idea.
