Have you ever used a really satisfying keyboard? Stay with me here; I'm serious! I'm talking about a keyboard that has this perfect click and spring to it when you press each key. People who have used keyboards from the 80s and 90s might remember the IBM Model M. I remember it because it was and still is my favorite keyboard, to the point where I'm actively looking for one to buy. It provides the ultimate typing experience. The way a button interacts with a user is crucially important. Is there a way to create a satisfying user experience in digital interactions like the old IBM keyboard keypress? I say yes!

Since everything is on-screen, we need to provide as much visual feedback to the learner as possible. This is done in Storyline through a feature called States. The Articulate community has a great feature article on how to configure button states in Storyline to create the best custom button experience ever!
