Calling the Instructional Design Hive Mind!
I was asked a great question today about best practices to help an Educator stay on top of marking-mountain! In particular, they're looking for tips to help them autograde aspects of an assignment.
What tips or strategies do you recommend for keeping that marking moving?

If the assignment has not yet been provided to students, you might use a mix of automatically graded question types in a quiz, as described in this article on autograding in quiz
I like the way the autograde options are broken down in this article from MGH Institute of Health Professionals
There may be other approaches that folks would take here, or recommend- but this is what came to mind for me.

Danielle, in addition to the numeric response that your learners give, is there a way of asking them to explain which number in the equation they used for a particular section with a written response (such as a fill in the blank)? Perhaps the initial question could have a lower mark for the correct response and then subsequent questions to enable learners to show how they calculated just in case their initial calculation was incorrect. Just a thought!
