I have found several documents with the following text:

"Status - All learning objects published to the repository are automatically classified as Unassigned, Approved, Archived, Draft, or In Review."

I have found zero documents explaining the effects of those classifications. I can guess about most of them from context, but I would much prefer formal written documentation.

    Hi @Francis U.,

In my experience, the "Status" of a Learning Object is effectively just an organization tool, and used as another mechanism for tagging / filtering content in a Repository. It gives you another criteria to filter against while searching, and also allows you to utilize internal processes around publishing (e.g. if there is an approval process for content), without needing to put unnecessary information in the description, keywords, etc.

    Hope this helps!
