SCORM Object Grade Item
Is anyone successfully linking to an external program with the name of the user and SCORE of the SCORM object? For example, we have a tracker system that includes codes and we link to the quiz ID and Course ID for reporting back to the interface so that the course is then marked off as completed in our roster process.
I have seen there is some Developer language here and am just wondering if I am overthinking this and if there is an easier way to report back on the content item for a SCORM video being completed (passed/failed) and then linking to the external web-based interface.

What a great question.
The answer to my knowledge is a bit of 'yes and no'.
When looking at / editing the question from within the question library, there is no visual indicator that the question is in use. However, when attempting to save an edit to the question, then
A) if the question is not yet in use anywhere, your changes will be saved without any additional dialog
B) if the question is in use somewhere, you will be presented with an additional dialog prompting you to choose where you wish the changes to apply — any combination of question library and/or the quizzes that utilize the question, like so:
In terms of rendering a visual indicator elsewhere in that workflow (ahead of an actual edit), I would recommend you submit that as a feature request in the Product Ideas Exchange (PIE), or update an existing request if one exists.

The deployment link needs to point to, which wasn't anywhere in the instructions that Qualtrics provided. Implementation gave it to me in a meeting.

I know you're interested in hearing from other folks at Universities in the United States, and my comments are coming from a different context- but I hope they may still be handy.
One of the advantages of the awards tool in Brightspace is that it can be a handy feature for viewing student progress at a glance (as the Instructor for a course).
However, the gamification element can also serve a useful time-keeping purpose for the student who understands these awards as milestones in their course progress.
If this second gamification element is of particular benefit to your use case, you might
1) use the Badge Builder embedded in the award tool to design awards for your course
2) download to badge images
3) upload these images (supported by alt-text) to a tool like announcements- paired with release conditions e.x X attempts on Quiz 4
This strategy would allow you to benefit from some of the efficiencies and automation of in-platform gamification and personalization tools- but those achievements would only be visible to the student unlocking them (The instructor wouldn't be able to see who had earned which badges at a glance as they would from inside the awards tool)

It seems the Import Course Log may provide you with some additional information. See Failing that you can always check the System logs for any relevant errors. Another options is to import/add the SCORM file via the UI to determine if the SCORM package itself is the issue given you've successfully imported SCORMs via the API. Hope that helps.
