How is Course Merchant deployed/enabled?
Course Merchant live environments are a complete ecommerce store for the Brightspace LMS. A customer has a live environment and may have a staging environment too depending on the integration requirements. The environments are deployed to the same region as the Brightspace environment and ‘connect’ to Brightspace through Valence APIs.
Custom work or “design match” consulting for the Standard edition is developed on a client’s staging environment. When a client has signed off the content of the store, the changes are then deployed into the live environment.
