The Multi-Profile Widget provides a flexible, dynamic homepage solution that allows multiple roles and functions to be presented directly to learners on a course homepage. Drawing on Classlists and User Profiles, the Multi-Profile Widget automatically pulls in the right people and details that you set.
Use this widget when…
…you have more than one individual supporting learners
If you design learning experiences that involve more than a single instructor, this widget allows you to display all the users your learners need to know about in a course.
…you have multiple individuals performing the same function
If you have individuals performing the same function within a course, you can set up categories to group users. For example, you may want to set up categories for facilitators, guest speakers, or course leaders.
…you want to share user information consistently
If you want to ensure that Brightspace Profile information is being shared consistently, select the profile fields to display in the Multi-Profile Widget and have user details populate in the widget across courses.
