Configure metadata in separate LOR's

Is it possible to set up a separate set of metadata for each Learning Object Repository (LOR)? So for LOR A we want Metadata A to be filled in and for LOR B we want Metadata B (with different fields) to be filled in.

You can select a different view and fill it in via 'Edit metadata' during publishing, but if you click 'Next' twice, you still only see 1 metadata set. You can change it via the config variable 'd2l.Tools.LOR.Publish.MetadataView (Org)', but even then, you still only have 1 metadata set that applies to every LOR.

Based on the current documentation, it doesn’t appear that Brightspace supports assigning a separate default metadata view to each individual LOR.

The d2l.Tools.LOR.Publish.MetadataView configuration variable is set at the Org level, so the selected metadata view cannot be configured separately per repository. While users can select a different metadata view when editing metadata, I wasn’t able to find a repository-level setting that would automatically use Metadata A for LOR A and Metadata B for LOR B.

As a possible workaround, you could use a combined metadata view containing the fields needed for both repositories, or manually select/edit the appropriate metadata view when needed.
