Hey everyone 👋
I'm Lindsay, a User Experience Researcher at D2L and our team would love to hear from you. We’re currently recruiting faculty and instructors for our participant database for D2L’s User Experience Research Program.
What is D2L’s User Experience Research Program?
As part of our product development process at D2L, we regularly consult with clients and non-clients to inform our product decisions. This helps us better understand our users so we can create products that help transform learning.
Some of our studies focus simply on better understanding your challenges and needs as faculty and instructors to help us plan our projects and design features and interfaces. Other studies focus on testing user interfaces that we’re currently designing or have already built to help us make our platform intuitive for users.
What’s involved?
When you sign up for our participant database, we’ll contact you periodically to see if you’d like to participate in a particular study. Each invite will have a link to a calendar where you can find a timeslot that will work for you. Currently, our sessions are run in English by a team in North America; we do our best to accommodate time changes and you can always email us to request a time that works better for you. Sessions are usually an hour long, and we offer a reward for your participation as a token of our appreciation.
Although research sessions are focused on specific topics or interfaces, we also leave a few minutes at the end so you can share any general feedback you have about your use of Brightspace.
How do I sign up?
If you’re interested in being contacted to participate in research opportunities, we ask for your contact information and a few details about your work to match you with appropriate studies. Please complete the sign-up form here: www.D2L.com/UXResearch
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Please see our D2L Privacy Statement.
If you have any questions about our User Experience Research Program or our participant database, please don’t hesitate to contact our team at ux@D2L.com.
