Community of Practice

Since the concept of Community of Practice (CoP) came to life in the early 90ies it was mostly discussed in the context of vocational education. Lately CoP has found its way into the Higher Education space, and I have had conversations about the topic regularly. In her blog-post Communities of Practice: Creating and Capturing Organizational Learning @Kiara Graham​, a learning strategy consultant at D2L, provides a quick overview, and shares her thoughts on how to reflect CoP in a learning environment.
