D2L Adventure as a Blended Resource
Blended learning is an approach to education that combines online learning experiences with in-class learning experiences. The ideal outcome is that online and classroom experiences complement each other by incorporating the strengths of each and leading to a greater learning experience for students overall. D2L Adventure looks to bring the online learning environment into the classroom to create a blended learning experience. 💻️✏️
D2L Adventure provides many opportunities for group instruction. Any resources’ problems and tasks can be solved and worked on in small groups, allowing the teacher to see how each group approaches problem/task. There are also group discussions. Each resource has a verbal communication callout box; these are great opportunities to split the students into small groups or have one big group discussion. 🌐
