Good afternoon,

We have started using the Learning Outcomes in our DPT program and found an odd limitation in the question library. When we tag questions in the quiz it informs us that the question library version of the question is also being updated, but we aren't seeing any method to see what questions are tagged in the question library of the course or tag additional questions inside the question library.

I'm wondering if this is settings issue in our environment or if anyone is able to see the learning outcomes from the question library in their environments.

Thanks for any guidance,

Trevor

    Hey Trevor -

Currently, the outcome alignments to the quiz questions are not visible in the Question Libary, but they’re still there if they were linked when used in a Quiz. Items from the Question Library maintain their alignments if they were imported from a Quiz.

Thanks for the info here Michael. Do you know if this is functionality that might be implemented in the future. It would be very valuable to be able to see and tag questions in the question library since not all our questions are utilized each term and we would like to maintain the library connections.

We also ran into an issue where when we copy a question library folder from one course to another with questions that have been tagged. If we create a new quiz with those questions do not appear unless we do a second copy of a quiz from the previous course where the question was tagged. Shouldn't the learning objective tags stay with the questions from one Question Library to the next?

    Thanks,

    Trevor

I'm going to tag in @Colin Heics who is the product manager for the quiz tool as this is in his roadmap so he is better suited to answer your question in this area. Thanks,
