Brightspace November 2020 Release Notes are out!

Among a lot of cool stuff is this nugget:

This release introduces the Notification Administration interface, where administrators can set the default state of email notifications for new users at the organizational level. Learners can override these default settings by updating their notification preferences. Previously, the default setting for all email notifications was Off, and individual learners were required to opt-in to receive announcements and course updates. @Else Svensgaard​
