Re: Quiz generator: How do I include a comma in exported CSV question?
Hi Michael,
I have not tested this, but have you tried double quotes around the commas? I found this in Stack Overflow's documentation:
Fields containing line breaks (CRLF), double quotes, and commas should be enclosed in double-quotes.
So, to have values foo and bar, baz, you do this:
foo,"bar,baz"
Hope that works!
Re: I can't access the old Community's answers any more
That's so weird, I googled it, clicked on it and it prompted me for a login. I logged in and was able to see the answers to that particular question.
While it doesn't solves the issue, I snipped a PDF just so you could see the conversation for that particular article. Figured that might help in the meantime!
Re: Is it possible to make an mp3 non-dowloadable in a specific course?
@Olivia.Tarasewicz5845 Depending on how you are adding the file to your course, you might be able to edit the HTML code and add controlsList="nodownload" to the audio tag so that download is not an option.
Re: Hover over text
The quickest way to do this is to just add a title attribute to the HTML element, such as a paragraph or abbreviation. It is not the most accessible way of adding tooltips, however, and you would need to add more styling to make it obvious that the user should hover over it.
Re: What permission lets Instructors view a retrieved LOR object in the content tool?
I knew it was a permissions issue, but couldn't see where I was going wrong. Turns out:
- You need to give “View Objects in the LOR” permissions at the Organization level - even if the content was in a Course Offering level.
- We have 3 different Course Designer roles, and only one of them was missing this permission.
Re: Can you change camera setting for video note?
I couldn't find an option within the Video Note tool, but I did find that changing my browser's default camera, or the browser's camera permissions for a particular site, nudged it into using a different camera. In Chrome, I searched settings for ‘camera’ and changed the camera from the dropdown. If you're on Safari on your Mac, I'm not sure what the steps would be, but maybe starting with the browser's camera settings could work?
