Safelist IPs for Authentication Infrastructure
If you have strict firewall policies that restrict connections from being established or received from unknown sources, every connection that is made to your infrastructure must be explicitly allowed. We offer the following public IP addresses based on your region to allow for this authentication (ex. LDAP) communication.
Region | IP's |

Asia - ap-southeast-1 | 52.76.219.100
52.74.230.99 |
Australia - ap-southeast-2 | 52.65.11.224

India - ap-south-1 | 3.111.79.13

Safelist Brightspace LMS IPs
We do not and cannot offer a list of IP addresses to safelist for our application. Since our application is hosted in AWS, IP addresses can change at random and at frequent intervals.
Safelist Brightspace Email
- We no longer offer safelisting IPs for Brightspace mail (This was retired as of a few years ago). We now follow industry standards to create MX, SPF, and DKIM records to securely send mail.
- Similarly, we do not offer safelisting by DNS mail server names as these can change at any time when we create or update mail servers.
- Instructions for creating and implementing MX, SPF, and DKIM records can be found in this article under Additional information in Brightspace Community. If you have further questions about the implementation of this, please reach out to our support team.
Safelist Domains for Brightspace
We do not currently offer safelist domains because domains that Brightspace interacts with are subject to change when our architecture and infrastructure also change.
