AI for Improving Accessibility and Inclusion in Education
Session summary:We are planning a collaborative session with the AIG members to discuss how AI-based tools could be used for improving accessibility and inclusion in education. Sam Chandrashekar will start with a comparative update of the ICT & AI standards and regulations in the EU, USA and Canada and discuss an approach to ensuring that introducing AI into the learning space enhances accessibility and inclusion rather than diminishing. Following that, Kate Wilhelm will moderate a discussion around the following question:
What are the conversations and emerging practices in your institution around including AI-based tools in education?
