Meet the All-New Creator+
It’s been an exciting year for Creator+. In the last few months, we’ve made some big changes that are sure to supercharge your content creation experience.
In July, D2L acquired H5P Group, a leading platform for creating and sharing interactive content. This acquisition significantly enhanced our creation suite, introducing a wide array of dynamic tools such as branching scenarios and interactive video. It also brought a robust editing system, empowering educators to design engaging, immersive learning experiences with ease.
In October, D2L took Creator+ to the next level by integrating H5P and introducing The All-New Creator+. Creator+ users now have access to H5P’s interactive tools, seamlessly complementing the existing Creator+ features. With the AI-powered Smart Import tool, users can quickly create engaging content—all directly within Brightspace, no coding required.

In the December Brightspace release, Creator+ customers will have the opportunity to explore a limited selection of H5P interactive tools. The trial includes:
- H5P Drag and Drop
- H5P Fill in the Blanks
- H5P Multiple Choice
- H5P True/False Question
