We would like to invite you to participate in making existing and new course content accessible.
We want to hear from individuals working in US-based higher education, K-12 schools, or government organizations AND who are in one of the following roles:
Instructors & instructional designers who create accessible content,Administrators & accessibility staff responsible for ensuring content complies with ADA Title II.

What is this research about?
We are interested in understanding your perspective and experience in making course content accessible, as well as your organization’s approach, and your involvement in preparing for ADA Title II compliance.
When is this research happening?
We aim to conduct 60-minute interviews with 12 individuals between May 11-21, 2026. You can sign up for a time slot from the scheduling link.
What do I need to prepare?
There’s no need to prepare anything beforehand. We’ll send you a calendar invite with a Zoom link to access the meeting and a non-disclosure agreement to sign electronically. If you can’t make the session for any reason, just let us know as soon as you can at aj.karakus@D2L.com.
What should I expect in the session?
The session will last 60 minutes. We’ll start by asking you a few questions about your role and your overall experience with accessibility, then we will focus on your involvement in preparation for ADA Title II compliance for digital courses and/or making course content accessible.
What do I get out of the session?
As a token of our appreciation, we will send you a $60 gift card.
What happens after the session?
We can’t always follow up with you on the impact that your session had on our design, but we do take the sessions very seriously and ensure they have an impact on our product.
