We are simply thrilled to be introducing one our our newest D2L Strategic Partners, Honorlock! Honorlock helps institutions uphold academic integrity in online assessment while keeping the learner experience front and center. It combines automated monitoring with live, human proctor review when needed - reducing false positives and unnecessary test disruptions.
What is Honorlock?
Honorlock integrates with Brightspace via LTI to support proctored quizzes and exams. Typical capabilities include:
- On-demand proctoring (no advance scheduling for learners)
- AI monitoring for potential integrity risks (e.g., unusual browser activity, secondary device attempts, ambient voice)
- Live proctor intervention only when warranted
- Instructor controls for exam rules (permitted materials, allowed websites, accommodations)
- Detailed session reports and recordings to support fair, consistent review
