We’re shining a Customer Spotlight on our BRAND-NEW course within the Brightspace Learning Center, [Archived Content] Metacognitive Teaching and Learning Strategies with University College Dublin.
Metacognition is our own thinking about our thinking. This course focuses on real life examples and strategies for teaching and promoting self-awareness of learning in students.
In this course you’ll get to create a Learning Design Sequence for your own subject area that integrates metacognitive teaching and learning strategies.
But that’s not all! You’ll also have an opportunity to connect with strategy champions from UCD in each scaffolded task via Discussions.
No matter your area of expertise, this course offers valuable content that is transferrable to all subject matter. We strongly recommend you do more than just THINK about it and take a peek!
