Hi Everyone,
I have a question about the Rubric in the D2L shell.
I want to link the rubric to my content section. I want it to be a place where learners go first as a way of informing how they move through the material within the course.
So I want to link the rubric but not just the published rubric- I want to link the rubric where I have added feedback already to the learner- the rubric within the dropbox folder. There is just one rubric for the course and so it is a live document where learners are consistent moving through it.
Anyone know how to do that? or where to go to get an idea of how to do it?
Thank you so much

Hi @lynnsy Plunz
Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community!
What you’re explaining for the functionality of Rubrics is very interesting! We’d love to learn more about your insights and thoughts on a ‘Course Rubric’ that stays connected with a learner as they progress throughout a course. I recommend you sharing this idea within our Product Idea Exchange (PIE). I can understand the benefits for learners to have a Rubric to refer to throughout the semester so that expectations and feedback are an ongoing resource. You can access PIE through the top navbar within the Brightspace Community. Here is an article for [Archived Content] Navigating PIE if you find it helpful.
In the meantime, one thing you may want to try is to create an ‘Assessments’ module and within, include links to assignments and their individual rubrics. Each learner would have the link to their own to be able to access it throughout the course. I hope this was a helpful suggested work-around to be able to accomplish learners accessing an ‘on-going’ rubric.
